Wellness Community Gala 2008

The Wellness Community's Gala, our highly prestigious event, attracting key business and community leaders in the Bay Area raised more than $220,000, our most successful Gala to date. This special event, held at the beautiful Diablo Country Club, brings together cancer survivors and supporters who celebrate our shared mission of support education and hope.

This year, we honored Steve Lesher. one of the most prominent, respected members of our community. He and his family joined us in support of cancer survivors and to celebrate wellness.

Thanks to all of you, this year's Wellness Gala will directly support over 200 people with cancer and their loved ones — and will underwrite at least three ongoing support groups, three classes and series, programs for children whose parents have cancer, and eight educational workshops.
