The Wellness Community of the San Francisco East Bay is one of a network of Wellness Communities nationwide. The national web site offers an extensive listing of links related to issues of support and care, as well as programs, events and information about the organization and other Wellness Communities.

AICR is the leading national cancer organization in the field of diet, nutrition and cancer. Their site contains information on cancer and cancer prevention as well as current research and recipes for healthy eating.

The ACS has information on all aspects of cancer, primarily directed to the public. The site includes headlines and brief stories on new cancer developments and treatments, as well as links to types of cancer, pediatric cancer, prevention, treatment options, therapies, research, statistics, and media resources.

Focusing on the care of cancer patients, this Web site offers support and coping information, treatment information, details on educational seminars and conferences held by Cancer Care Inc., and information about professional consultations and educational programs.

CancerNet is a supersite for information on all aspects of cancer, operated by the National Cancer Institute (NCI). The main site is the starting place for exploring vast databases of information about cancer types, treatments, trials, genetics, prevention, testing, support, and literature.

National Coalition For Cancer Survivorship

The NCCS is a grassroots, nationwide network of independent organizations and individuals working in the area of cancer support and information for all types of cancer. Their Web site carries an index to the organization's current newsletter, Networker, as well as several audio and transcript tutorials to help cancer patients develop skills needed during treatment.
